First spy photos of the BMW 1 Series Coupe facelift hit the web last week and today, the Convertible variant showed up on the spy photographers’ radar.
The test mule spotted features the same styling updates seen on the Coupe model. The Convertible receives the updated LED technology, revised front bumpers and restyled air intakes.
New exterior colors, wheel options and interior trims are the newest addition to the popular 1 Series Convertible. A redesigned M-Sport kit will also be offered as a separate option.
Inside, the changes are insignificant, mostly around new trims. The only major upgrade comes from the technology area. The new ConnectedDrive system will be featured in the facelifted model.
We expect the drivetrain to remain largely unchanged for the majority of the lineup. The top model in the 1 Series family will be the new 1 Series M Coupe which makes its world debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2011.
