Another tuner takes on the task to modify a BMW vehicle. Erftstadt-based MR Car Design has given their BMW 335i a performance tuning upgrade by increasing the power output by 100 hp from the standard 300 horsepower and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) to a whooping 400 horsepower and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft).
The tuning kit includes a performance exhaust system (from 850 €) with new catalytic converters, an XXL-intercooler (899 € including installation) and new engine software (849 €).
The Black Scorpion sits on Sprit alloy wheels from Breyton, in 8.5 x 20 and 10.5 x 20 with high-performance tires 235/30-20 and 285/25-20. The complete set at MR Car Design is priced from 2548 € depending on brand of tires selected. Suspension is topped off with a KW coilover suspension V3 (V1 from € 929).
For those of you looking for an M3-replica, the company also offers an original M3 hood with its power bulge. Price? €1000.
