The photos reveal an M-like interior with the usual M3 steering wheel, M Sport seats. The gauges design is different as well and the RPM line stops at 7,000.

Exterior wise, 1 Series M’s body and track have been widened significantly front and rear. An unique and aggressive front bumper is featured on the car. The trunklid gets the spoiler lip and the signature quad tailpipes are present as well.

The speculations around the engine continue, some journalists believe the 1 Series M Coupe features under the hood an upgraded version of the N54 twin-turbo engine, but no official information have been released at this point.

Stay tuned in the near future for more information!

This appears to be the interior of the 2012 3-series proto that’s been photographed. In other words, that 3-series proto just has a dummy 1-series mock up dash. Note the integrated nav screen, vs. the current 1-series with the pop-up screen.

Actually, 2010 forwards 1 series no longer have the popup nav – just check out the online configurator. This looks like a 1 series interior with M3 seats, different steering wheel and different dial graphics.

nice..but not much difference between the 135i and the 1 series M coupe. I mean maybe some carbon fiber trim?. M stitched seats and a lot of M badges. nothing special.
