Our friends at BMW are ready to celebrate an important milestone with you. Being recently voted one of the best automotive company in the social media field, the latest milestone comes as a confirmation that BMW can not only be a leader in engineering, but also a leader in the social interaction area as well.
The almost 500,000 BMW fans joining the Facebook fan page is without a doubt a great achievement and this also comes to prove what we’ve been saying for years: BMW fans are some of the most loyal and passionate fans that any automaker can have.
Yes, we stand by this statement and we have no doubt that the future will prove we were right!
To celebrate this milestone, BMW posted a short video on Youtube revolving around the 500,000 magic number.
But wait, this is not it…with this occasion, they are launching the BMW Expert Challenge, a competition in which anyone of you can win a free trip to Munich and a short behind the scene view!

Enter the big BMW challenge and win an amazing trip to BMW in Munich.
Answer five out of 20 questions and enlist the support of three of your friends to help you answer the rest of the questions. The entrant with the most correct answers wins. In the event of a tie the winner will be selected at random. Your Facebook friends can also take part and invite three of their friends to help them. Deadline for entries is 2010, February 22nd.
The lucky winner will receive a four-day stay including three nights in a four-star design hotel in Munich. The trip includes a premium tour of the BMW Museum, the BMW Welt and a tour of the BMW plant. You will also have the chance to meet the BMW Facebook team in person at a VIP lunch at the BMW Welt.
