But I do know that Akrapovic is transforming itself also to a high-quality automobile exhaust producer. You can already buy their exhaust for BMW M3 and Chevy Corvete. I think they also developed an exhaust for Nissan GT-R. And as far as I know, they also provide exhaust systems to one of the F1 teams. I don’t know about that. BMW will probably be selling the Akrapovic exhaust for it's S1000RR in house, that is what was probably meant. you'd also be able to get the exhaust cheaper from an aftermarket dealer. The V-twin of the 1198S allows for strong corner exits with a lot of traction, but with BMW's advanced traction control and huge power advantage - I'm confident the S1RR will trump here too. They are both beautiful bikes, I highly encourage you to take a look at the BMW in person. Pictures really do not do this bike justice. Factor in the very reasonable price and BMW has a winner.
