Several companies make 315/35-20 winter tires, but finding inventory after October/November can be nigh impossible.

Alternatively, you can run 4 front rims with a set of four same-size winters as well.

Also, since X5M is heavily rear-biased X-drive, it is almost like a regullar rear-wheel drive car.

Hey… Tell me if there is a Snow tire available for X5M. Last time I checked, it does not exist. Especially for those 315 /35/20 rear tires.
All they have is All-Season performance. which is only marginally better than regular tires.

Because 4X4s are supposed to be good off road and in adverse road conditions. That would never happen with a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.

I drive my BMW with all season tires and i’m still fine. But also, i don’t forget that i don’t have winter tires on when i drive.

you’re right about snow tires: no matter how many wheels get power from the engine, if they can’t put it down on the road, then all of the electronic systems are useless.
and speaking of power, I’m sure this guy thought he’d be safe while pushing the car to its limits, but lucky for him the safety equipment managed to keep him alive and regret pushing such a car when the conditions aren’t ideal

AWD does nothing for you when you have to break or make an evasive maneuver. It can never be a substitute for proper snow tires. Those look like snow tires though which of course doesn’t mean you can’t still crash ;-)
