The 2011 BMW 5 Series catalog was just released yesterday and at the same time, the online configurator went live on bmw.de. As a Christmas gift, any BMW enthusiast and not only has the chance to play with the 5 Series configurations, going through all the available options, colors and everything there is to see on the new 5er.
Here are some of the exterior colors offered on the 2011 5 Series: Alpine White, Havanna Metallic, Imperial Blue, Milano Beige, Black Sapphire, Titanium Silver or Space Gray. Most likely an Individual 5 Series will follow as well with exclusive interior and exterior colors.
Inside, several Dakota and Napa leather colors are available.
The entry level model in Germany is the 523i while the high-end model remains the 550i. There are reports that U.S. market will initially receive the 528i, 535i and 550i Sedan, but we expect to see a diesel engine sometimes in the future as well.

Can’t wait to see the Msport on new 5.
Can’t wait; but hope new one does better in crash testing than the 2010 did.
The answer is…don’t crash!
