LSB ~ FRB (French Racing Blue). Surprised VW/Audi isn't in a dither with BMW for still using what is essentially an historical Bugatti Blue - but it is gorgeous!

LSB is a great color! There are a couple inaccuracies in this story. The earlier articles concerning the first and second LSB M3s are both about the same E92 M3 (the vehicle in the second article). The picture in the first article is fake. It's a photoshop; the original vehicle is an MR E93 M3.

You've never seen LSB before on a E46 M3? It's brilliant IMO.

I'm having trouble determining if I like it. In some of the pictures it looks great, but then some of the pictures make it look really light. This is a color that I'd have to see in person to know whether I really like it.

"As we learned in the past, BMW only allows small number of M3’s to be custom painted every year."

This is NOT true. BMW makes as many custom painted cars as people order them (at least for the German market).
You just ask the guys at Individual/M GmbH nicely and they paint it in every colour you can imagine.

If I was paying $5k for a paint job, I would need utmost assurance that there would be none of that typical BMW orange peel. I'd like to see some close-up pics just to judge that.
