And our 2011 BMW 5 Series coverage continues…we return with new photos. If we constantly “annoyed” you with our 5 Series spy photos, wait a few more days and you will see only 5 Series in front of you.

As with any new car, our extensive coverage goes beyond any other publication has ever done and this time, we’ll take it even further. We’re already seen the official press release, followed shortly by the first photos, then we glanced through some videos released by BMW and we moved onto the technology and highlights of the new 5er.

Tomorrow, we have more surprises for you, including live coverage from BMW Museum in Munich where our sister blog BimmerToday will report live and for the first time, we will “in person” photos.

But for now, enjoy the new photo gallery below and we’ll update it as we receive more.

it wasn’t exactly what i had expected or wanted. it definitely has grown on me a bit in the last 24 hours and i think it looks fantastic, however, i think the facelift version in a couple years will probably take care of a lot of the little things. just like with the E90 LCI, they fixed pretty much everything i didn’t like about the car, and it was all minor stuff. i think it looks absolutely fantastic!

I would rather they put more of the E90 LCI into this 5… a little bit sharper edges and a little bit more aggressive…. the E90 LCI really isn’t that aggressive either!

the interior in this new 5 looks gorgeous! :)

I really like the car, but i don’t like BMWs experiments with the radiator grill (in germany we call the two rings “BMW-Nieren”, which means as much as BMW-kidney, so please excuse my english). It should be two chrome rings. I really hated this 3series front:
and I also would be happy, if the new 5series would have just black blades. But however the new 5series looks just great! :-)

Kudos to to the new designer team! BMW is gaining back its designer touch. Looks like they are back with a vengeance – faster and better engines and more aggressive designs.
