It is the same logo that was used on the classic M Motorsport cars from the late 70's. Which I think is super cool. Just because the block isn't new doesn't make this any less than a world class engine. Ferrari, Mercedes, Porsche would be tripping over themselves to create an engine its equal. That is an incredible specific output figure for such a large displacement engine. On another note - this M5 CSL has only two seats. As in, two less than the M3 Coupe. As in... this car has four doors but two seats, so maybe it's not such a stretch to call it a CSL. The rear doors are just for easy access to your helmet and extra tires!
