The series of 2011 BMW 5 Series spy photos continues, but this time we have something special. The Chinese automobile blog, auto.qq.com have just published the best spy photos of the new 5 Series interior.
The photos show an almost completely unveiled interior design and as expected, the new F10 5 Series inherits many interior design cues from the 7 Series and the recently launched 5 Series GT.
High quality materials and trim, black gauges and plenty of new gadgets, are taking the next 5 Series interior design a few notches up the design scale.
Looking at these photos, we’re convinced that we are looking at a pre-production model and some finishes remain to be made. Regardless, we like what we’re seeing and we’re embracing the new interior design direction.

I don’t think this is the 2011 5 series. The gauges aren’t holograms like in the 7 series…
I take it back, I compared the 2 and it could be the 2011 5…
I HATE this…the interior is 99.9% the same to the new 7 series!! what happen to BMW’s talk of not creating the same sausage in different lengths ?!
compared to E class this looks like 1992 fiat panda.
Disappointing. Expected more. It is just the 7 series on the inside. The E-Class and XF destroy this car’s interior. This makes my decision next year very tough
If it looks like the 7 Series or 5 GT inside, believe me, it’s a good thing. That interior is the best I’ve seen so far in a BMW.

Guys, do you reallt like new E-class interior? All this car looks totally outdated, it reminds some Lancia from mid 90-ties from back, its front looks terrible and slide line makes it looks heavy and flat. Its interior (especially dashes above display and speedometer) looks as if it was upgraded W124’s interior. Comparing F10 to it, the first one looks as if it was three generation younger car. I tell you, if don’t share my opinion, you will sell statistics of new E-class in two next years.
Yaep, this interior reminds 7-er too much, but on the other hand, it guarantees that it gonna be luxury interior.
BTW, does some of you really think that E-class has better designed interior than 7-er? If not, how then can you tell that 5-er interior is worse since it’s so similar to 7’s?
