So basically, the same company that makes these for everybody else is making these with the same components and a different housing, firmware, and packaging.

How much? My bet: $300. Jabra: $19 at best buy.

Hopefully it won't say "BMW" in such big letters or have the badge. Instead, it should have a big spinner

Cookies are cleared on my PC daily, and I've never had any interest in Nissan products since the old I6 Z cars...

The only time Infiniti has ever been anywhere on my PC was ~6 months ago, and that was just looking up a single part for a friend on a program that's dedicated to our one of our wholesalers (ie: not IE).

...Infiniti ad was there because you've been looking at Infinities on your computer, and you've picked up a cookie - which triggered the ad.

A) WTF, BMW? Seriously? That's freakin' lame. With the energy you spent slapping your logos on a preexisting product, you could have used that effort to make something sweet... like BMW-branded contraception. Or perhaps BMW-brand popcorn, for the BMW driver who is simply too damned good to eat that crap they serve at theaters.

B) Why the hell was there an Infiniti ad underneath this story on the main page??? Seriously? An Infinit ad on a BMW website? Horatiu, I'm looking in your direction on this one...
http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e163/Deviate_3s/infinitiBMWBLOG.jpg

C) Bluetooth headsets are just ridiculous to begin with. Nobody really uses them anymore, truthfully. I think everyone finally realized that they looked like idiots, plus they get stuck wearing some stupid earpiece all damn day waiting for that one uber-important phone call.

Now what's the point of this thing when cell phone companies offer this product themselves??? I can get one from Sony Ericsson for my phone. Furthermore, BMW will probably charge you a fortune for this thing - so why bother? Just because it is a BMW product??? It just doesn't make sense. It'd be a different story if it was connected to the car somehow.

Also, I find these things terribly uncomfortable! I'd rather turn on the phone loud speakers and hold it with one hand.

It's like BMW producing those pointless music CDs. Why woul I listen to music sold by BMW??? just doesn't make sense.
