The Nürburgring’s Nordschleife is widely regarded as the most spectacular, most challenging and longest race track in the world. Those who want to experience the “Green Hell” can do so by lapping the circuit in the passenger seat of BMW Ring-Taxi, the powerful BMW M5.

The official BMW Youtube Channel and BMW.tv have released a new video of the BMW Ring-Taxi doing some laps at Nurburgring. A nice teaser and at the same time, a cool race circuit that everyone should look forward to it. We were there a few weeks ago, but unfortunately the track closed right before our arrival due to a severe accident.

Bad luck, no doubt, but there is always next time….

P.S. Now only if Sabine Schmitz (Video) would have driven this M5 Ring-Taxi….

My 8 minutes with Sabine will always remain as one of the very best highlights of my life. She is supremely skilled, but also great fun and a wonderful lady. My 16yr old son regards his ride in her taxi as the absolute best time of his life. He loves to tell the story of me telling him (after a conversation the previous night) “that’s oversteer…” Sabine winked at him and said “that’s not oversteer, THIS is oversteer!” as she piloted us around a long right-hander completely sideways.
I love driving the ‘Ring, and I’ve driven all sorts of cars there, but the Taxi ride will always be how I remember the ‘Ring.
