Given the current push towards "cleaner" or better mileage vehicles. 2. Decreased demand for the "type" of aftermarket that Alpina focuses on...BMW (esp. 5er's and 7er's) are coming from the factory optioned the way Alpinas used to be (interior design and amenities). 3. Possibly bring back a younger demographic. Ask many of the newest E9x, E8x generation owners and they probably don't even know who Alpina is. I can actually see this working for a variety of reasons…especially if priced at a reasonable price.
