We have been planning this trip for months now and with the latest developments in the BMW world, it made sense even more for us to be present at the Frankfurt Auto Show. With over 70 BMWs displayed there and the world premiere of several models, the Frankfurt Auto Show is the most important car show for BMW this year.
This year we attended all the major U.S. auto shows and brought you live coverage from every one of them. Even though we’re based out of Chicago and Frankfurt is not really close to home, we believe it’s worth the trip to Germany in order to bring you the best and most updated BMW coverage.
As always, we will spoil you with lots of photos, videos and interviews with several designers. This will be the most extensive coverage we have done at an auto show and our German editor, Benny from BimmerToday, will be there to assist us.
On Tuesday, we will be interviewing the designers of the controversial 5 Series GT and the Project Leader for X1. Beside our questions that we have prepared for them, if you have any other questions you would like us to ask, please let us know in the comments below and we’ll try to get them answered.
In the mean time, we landed in Munich, picked up an X6 xDrive30d which we will test for a few days, then we’re heading to BMW Welt, BMW Museum and on Monday, a special factory tour.
