We have been planning this trip for months now and with the latest developments in the BMW world, it made sense even more for us to be present at the Frankfurt Auto Show. With over 70 BMWs displayed there and the world premiere of several models, the Frankfurt Auto Show is the most important car show for BMW this year.
This year we attended all the major U.S. auto shows and brought you live coverage from every one of them. Even though we’reĀ based out of Chicago and Frankfurt is not really close to home, we believe it’s worth the trip to Germany in order to bring you the best and most updated BMW coverage.
As always, we will spoil you with lots of photos, videos and interviews with several designers. This will be the most extensive coverage we have done at an auto show and our German editor, Benny from BimmerToday, will be there to assist us.
On Tuesday, we will be interviewing the designers of the controversial 5 Series GT and the Project Leader for X1. Beside our questions that we have prepared for them, if you have any other questions you would like us to ask, please let us know in the comments below and we’ll try to get them answered.
In the mean time, we landed in Munich, picked up an X6 xDrive30d which we will test for a few days, then we’re heading to BMW Welt, BMW Museum and on Monday, a special factory tour.
So, all we have to say for now is stay tuned, follow us daily on here, on Twitter and Facebook, and we’ll bring some pretty awesome BMW news!

Ask them if there is ever going to be a BMW supercar that every BMW fan is dreaming about
lucky you…u are on my dream road trip..enjoy…
Driving around Germany is always fun, German drivers are some of the most disiplined in the world. Just don’t touch your index finger to your temple, even to scratch!
Try and get some shots of the new X3. And, ask what the timeline is on the Vision ED’s drivetrain system becoming a production reality.
see you there guys…going on friday the 19th.
Ask them wich model will see there new design philosophy of ” slated surfaces”
and how do they feel about flame surface usage on other carmakers – for instance the new mercedes benz electric car, audi new A8 looks to have a raised trunk lid and the opel insignia as the bmw windows frame copied from a 3 series – altough i think the insignia as better proportions.

Looking forward… please tell them we want something like the Vision ED!
I’d like to know about the facelifted E92 and E93. Will they carry the new N55?
please ask them:
Q1- is there a future of 1 series….?
Q2- from the day when CHRIS BANGLE took the depertmant BMW BECAME better but started growing in controversies…….how do you seek that??
Q3- why you limited the 5 SERIES GT to just three engines……? AND LAST
Q4- BMW CARS are always SOMEWHAT STIFF as compared to other cars in it’s class….. why??????
Wow, English is not your first language, is it. These are easily answered, you don’t have to go to Frankfurt for them. Q1: Yes. Q2: What?! Q3: It has five engine options, not three. Q4: Because BMWs handle better than other cars in its class.
ask them why is the middle back seat on the BMW GT SE model so uncomfortable? why didn’t day design a proper 3 seater for the car?
