Photos from the BMW Welt and from a Z8 meet

First day in Munich and we’re already connecting with the BMW brand. First stop for us today was the BMW Welt, the state-of-art building that serves as a delivery center for the BMW customers.

Even though I’ve been there before, for some of my colleagues this was a special occasion and the Welt really brings out a lot of emotions in people. As always, BMW uses the floors to display some of their latest models, from the new BMW Z4, 7 Series to the emergency vehicle X6.

The now famous “Joy” campaign is represented through the new Z4 and a special room where the “Expression of Joy” theme is displayed.

For the true BMW enthusiasts, a 135i with Performance Parts was displayed as well and it looked quite stunning. Plenty of cars and things to see, but the truth is that pictures can’t tell the real story this time, the Welt is a place that needs to be on the map of any true BMW fan.

The icing on the cake was a BMW Z8 meet-up that took place right outside Welt’s doors. Over 50 Z8s were displayed there, including some Alpina models. This has been the first time I’ve seen so many Z8 Roadsters in a single place and it was quite a sight.

Motorrad fans have not been forgotten and we have some photos for them as well.

The 80 Z8’s were there for the 10th birthday celebration, the Z8 was launched exactly ten years before at the Frankfurt auto show. You can see more pictures of the event here – http://www.bmwz8.us/vbb/showthread.php?t=1889
