In addition to several world premiers introduced at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show, BMW Group brings out more special editions of already produced vehicles. This includes the BMW M6 Competition which stands out among others by an exclusive design, both interior and exterior.
BMW will also introduce a new color in the M6 line-up, Frozen Gray Mettalic….matte finish. The M6 Competition Edition is limited to only 100 vehicles, all of them carrying a special engraving.
Inside, the few lucky customers can choose between two design variations, the Merino full leather interior with either black or light gray two-tone contrast stiching. Special floor mats with the “M6 Competition” stitched on them will emphasize the limited edition M6 the owner has purchased.
There are also some fine technical tuning, starting with a special suspension which will provide even more momentum, and continuing with revised springs, dampers and stabilizers. The ride has also been lowered by 10 mm upfront and 12mm at the rear.
No pricing is available at this time, but we intend to find out more about the ordering process at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

This is just sick.. stunnign!!
So u get a new color, slightly upgraded suspension and a two tone interior. I’m sorry, but BMW lost me on that one. No power, no new wheels, no bigger brakes, no nothing??? And dumb azzes will buy this because BMW says only 100 made??? In my opion its an M6 with sport package…..boring! Try again BMW.
I do not know, but I suppose BMW has tuned the engine and put on some bigger brakes, maybe more carbon fiber/plastic on the chassis.. It’s just speculation. I suspect 550 hp. Anyways, gorgeous car, just so dumb I can never afford it here in Norway, the richest country in the world, with the highest taxes on cars in the world, and roads that are so bad, you can not even imagine if you have not have driven on them yourself.
where does it mention extra hp and bigger brakes?
It’s not mentioned, but I think there will be more information about it when the car shows up on the Frankfurt Auto Show. I don’t have any information on it, just speculation. BMW tends to surprise
Stunning looking package.
I have the M6 in stratus grey, fantastic colour, by far the best,
But this new matt colour, wow.
Would have also liked to have seen some engine upgrades, or wheels…etc
But never the less looks great.
Would i place an order for one?
No. Simply because there isnt enough changes.
And the depresiation on mine is BAD enough.
I couldn’t agree with u more. I can go aftermarket like Dinan and do a much better suspension upgrade than you will get from BMW. Who wants white interior?? They get dirty fast! High maintance! I’m sorry, but I dont see anything special or difference than the current M6. The new color will not make the car go fast nor am I crazy about gray in general. Once night falls who will tell the difference thats the new gray! Please! BMW Give me something to wow about. I can get a nicely preowned M6 with Dinan mods that will smoke this one with no problems and save money.
I guess 10% hp increase, I am sure they will surprise us all when they show it at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
i want an M6….
Who would buy this car when there’s the new 6er coming, and of course the new m6? I don’t understand…
They need to produce some legendary car’s from time to time
Legendary? What is legendary about this car is its weight, that’s legendary…
they should’ve done an M6 CSL….
What a beautiful car ! I sold the same last tuesday but it was an Alpin Weiss version …
A question : you don’t speak about the BMW Blue Dynamics Land Yacht . You can find some views and pictures on Carscoop ….
