Continuing the “Joy is BMW” campaign, a new design project has emerged. BMW Romania decided to launch a 2D/3D design competition revolving around the Joy marketing campaign. The Joy theme kicks off with the launch of the new BMW Z4, a vehicle that is all about theĀ Expression of Joy. Shortly after, the X1 expands the Joy marketing efforts with a series of viral videos
The Joy is BMW design competition is planning on gathering the best and most creative ideas from the BMW fans and not only. The emotions and joy inspired by the BMW brand will weigh tremendously in this project. Designers are not only encouraged to follow these emotions and the BMW values, but they are given the opportunity to freely illustrate what BMW means for them.
Those of you that are marketing majors or work in PR departments will come to appreciate these type of contests and it is always exciting to see the creativity that comes out of these projects.
Today, courtesy of VisualArt, we can show you one of these creative projects: a dictionary entry for the word Joy is associated with the BMW roundel and a description of the BMW brand.
As we have seen in the past six months, BMW is stepping up their efforts to engage the online BMW community and expand their reach beyond the traditional medium. Facebook, Twitter and Youtube are just some of the most important platforms used by BMW these days to reach millions of bimmer fans.
