I may be biased but i could not pull the trigger for the e60 m5 sorry bangle.. i tried to justify the odd look of e60 with the engine ( i was going for the 6sp) but i just couldn't do it.. holding on to my titan silver m5 with dinan mods and waiting eagerly on f10 m5.. please for the sake of your loyal fans bmw, tone the radical look down some and give us what you gave us with e39 m5.. subtle look with beastly and aggressive tire and wheel setup and ahh so tiny decklid spoiler and badge to let lesser opponents know it was not regular 5 series.. m5 cognoscenti dont need fancy bodywork to let opponents know of the power.. the rear deck when pulling away should suffice.. glad for the piece.. have owned 2 e39 m5 (black and titan silver) that say much that i bought the same car 4 years apart. I have a 2000 E39 540i Sport. To this day I think it is still one of the best looking sedans BMW has ever made. Great clean lines-the only improvement for me would be to move up to a E-39 M-5 If you 're interested in reading more about BMWs or how about writing a story yourself, I've found www.bmwstory.com a great palce for entusiasts. It’s great to see BMW move to a more conservative look. I have a 2000 E39 540i Sport. To this day I think it is still one of the best looking sedans BMW has ever made. I concur that the bar is set very, very high. I am looking forward to the 5 series returning to it's roots with a more conservative yet decisive design language.
