This concept is a good demonstration of BMW’s capabilities to create environmentally acceptable cars without loosing any of the driving dynamics nor performance. Though it is a concept it seems near production ready. Of course some design choices are not very practical which has to be changed but I would love to something similar to this on the streets within three years. I would definitely buy one (if the price is somehow within acceptable levels).

Come on guys. This is not just an ordinary ‘concept’ car. Its a VISION concept. So don’t even expect to think about this car and it being related to a mass product in 3 years time. This is a proper concept car where they are thinking of a possible direction of technology and design, but for a future goal, so there is a direction to where they are heading. BMW will explore the feedback received and make decisions accordingly. Even so, with positive feedback, who knows how fashions and styles will change for the future! Keep and open mind!

This is by far the best concept I’ve seen in the last 20yrs! Everything about this beast is revolutionary…from the hybrid engine to the aerodynamics (& every little detail)! The car is 20yrs ahead of it time! & I concur the vision concept does make the r8 & the incoming Mercedes SLS look like happy meal toys! Nobody wants my beloved BMW to build a supercar (2 crush Audi or Benz) more than I do…but I also understand the investment needed for the proper R&D to actually create a car that meets BMW’s strict standards! This economy doest exactly justify that type of investment…which renders this beauty (vision concept) a mere dream! This car has the potential 2 usher BMW to the throne but we’ll never see it…we’ll be lucky if we can get 1 detail of this car on a new BMW model in the next 10 yrs!!!! BMW needs some balls!!!! Smh!!!!

This is an excellent concept car. I mean, really excellent. It embodies many *revolutionary* ideas that have been well- developed, unlike many concept cars which are just there for that sense of “what if”.

The design is growing on me. They’ve made a lot of interesting decisions with it aesthetically. Many of them are small touches, like the flowing asymmetrical design of the dash and console (see top view). But mostly, it’s the interaction of discrete surfaces and how they used their intersections as opportunities to elaborate the design.

So, the big question. Is this an actual working car? Or are the performance figures speculation?

I am tired of theese Hommages and Concepts, BMW It’s time for something new! Mercedes has far faster and more manueverable cars and we bmw fans are in trouble that the fastest bmw car is M6 wich is 6 years old and it can be easily overtaken by 63 AMG not talking about 65 AMG or SLR, Time for a supercar!

This thing is cool looking, not sure about that small screen between the steering wheel though, nor the doors…. (If the doors stay like this, we can expect to pay a shitload of money for this thing, as it will just be some exotic thing)

Why can’t they produce something in the 40-50K range, that is cool, and will be on the market soon, instead of all this sci-fi stuff.

I for myself am not excited from this concept because i hope that it will roll on to production because clearly this cannot be the case,at least not 3years from now,but this is so promising and it promises that BMW will be making a sportscar like this in the near future,but still the most exciting part for me are the engines and the aerodynamics of this masterpiece.Just think the 3cylinder engine alone can produce 163hp and 290Nm,that is the same amount a 4cylinder 2.0L can produce and it is even more efficient.Not to forget that it produces 107hp/liter.Then you have the almost 200Hp produced from the electric motors even if only for a short period that is still outstanding.Not to forget that it can accelerate in 4.8seconds,M3-5-6 territory and still doesnt use more then 4Liters of diesel and only produces -100g/km.Coolest thing on earth.

u people are out of ur mind….this thing will never come to life so I dont know where this excitement comes from , just by looking at it?…the concept looks nice but it would be much better if it had something like this rolling the streets with all that cover tape and plastic , something we look forward to and know it will be a series production car…so…again , another true masterpiece SCI FI bullshit , thanx alot bmw , really
