Theory about that picture: I think that’s an intricate spoiler integrating a novel tail-light design. The tail light is a “glowing” spoiler element.

The outside loop is painted blue, and the inside is a clear polycarbonate piece conducting red light to the edge (I forget the term… the light bounces on the long edges but emits on the far perpendicular edge ones due to refraction index).

Well anytime we look forward we see stuff that doesn’t make sense. I’m reading “Ford: The Times, the Man, the Company”, and when steam was the motive source of choice, perception of what would work was through a ‘steam’ lens. Suspect we’re guilty of that now (I know I am). The other thing to bear in mind is that we are at the front edge of new propulsion systems. There’ll be a lot of odd duck things that won’t make the cut.

Can’t wait to see what this is.

i agree with Matt,i was hoping too..and the rumor was that it will represent z2 or 3gt,maybe even m1..but as matt sad its just study like m1 hommage,gina…and its too bad cos even if its good ,the design or idea wont be incorporated with regular standard models..too bad cos every concept was great design…

Personally I was hoping for a concept that would preview a model that was coming up soon, this too extreme to be anything that’d ever reach production, may as well be a GiNA, M1 hommage, or Mille Miglia concept for all the good it will do!!!
