I live in Australia, Melbourne and yes our cars are crazy expensive even with the exchange rate. And to answer Ignace i regret to tell you that NO, our cars are very far from full spec. We incure alot of tax with our cars but still i dont understand why it is so expensive! my dad recently baught his 750Li for 330 hundred thousand australian. You do the maths but thats bloody expensive in relation to you folks.
Its a shame yes, yet the cars here sell very very well.

Those australian dollars…I wanted to leave it in their currency, but I can edit the article and add the US equivalent. Then might as well add the EURO :)

100 USD is about 82 AUD / Australian Dollar,
so a 1 series coupë 123d with steptronic, AUD 60,864 is about USD 50,245.
My guess is that the cars for Australian market are full spec,
much like the cars for the US market.
Same car in base trim costs about USD 70,000 in The Netherlands….

I dont know but is it the same value as in american dollars? i mean are the same dollars as the american as the australian? Because i think that its not thats why the prices are so high
