I’m sorry, but am I the only one that noticed the irony, “Americans are always thinking about efficiency” then they take a great concept like and energy-saving lightbulb, and then create an unnecessary canopy of them completely undermining the concept of saving energy.

It’s all relative of course, my Honda gets much better mileage than my BMW, but that may have to do with size. I am glad I got the 3.0L, it has more than adequate performance and adequate mileage.

There are rumors that the Eco credit can be applied to 2010 diesels and that these cars can be ordered rather than just coming from existing inventory. Can anyone confirm?

It’s a good ad, but BMW needs to follow it up by announcing that the 123d is coming over and that its 2.0L 4 cyl will be available in the new X1 and 3-series coming to the USA soon.

Awesome. This is what people would buy if they really cared for being “green.” That or a motorcycle… I’m not sure what I have more fun doing though, driving my BMW or my Harley.
