		<description>So, remind me again why the hybrid concept is more advantageous than the diesel?  I mean, I want to be supportive of the Efficient Dynamics concept, but at the same time the diesels offer near-zero emissions, are a proven technology (not that new technologies have ever been problematic for even our esteemed BMW -- 2002 7-series...), don&#039;t have huge batteries which will eventually need to be disposed, the fuel is cheaper (both because of the price and because you don&#039;t have to buy premium) and they use less of it.  From my point of view, this seems like a waste of time and resources to keep up with an inferior technology that&#039;s in use by most other manufacturers.

I&#039;m not trying to be argumentative; I&#039;m genuinely interested in what you all think.</description>
