I don't even like sport bikes, but this is the safest motorcycle I have ever felt. It's as solid as a rock, and goes like a rocket. I love it. I'm waiting for my chance at owning one. Trust me, it's that good! If you can deal with the fact that it's geared low, and the engine likes to whine, you'll love it. I use it for a physical and psychological workout. It cleans my spirit and relieves my daily stress. Only wish the insurance companies weren't trying to charge me $1200 a year in insurance. I did a test ride on this bike for a few hours. I learned to ride on a 2001 600cc suzuki velutia, not sure if i spelled that right. Anyway, then i gradualted to the Suzuke gsk-r 600, which was a perfect bike. It had enough power to kick ass once i got experienced enough, but was still great for someone new to superbikes. That puppy topped out at 165mph stock except for the Yoshi exhaust can I put on it. That bike was sadly stolen. I'm still pissed about that by the way 5 years later. I am now looking for a new bike. I have been researching for months now and cannot find a reason to get any other bike except for the bmw s 1000 rr. It is perfect, sexy, powerful, and stunning. MEchanically and aesthetically it is totally awesome. This will be my next bike.........damn I think i am going to have wet dreams tonight about it......bmw has out done and out engineered everybody again......I wouldn't expect anything less....: ) this bike is off the chain!!! I've used their products as well as others. Another top notch manufacturer is Leo Vince. I wouldn't hesitate at all to put on a Akrapovic exhaust. You should actually look at the reasons why you would NOT keep the stock exhaust. For one, it's made to be restrictive to pass noise and emissions tests. Why not put a more free flowing exhaust on your bike, especially during break in period, to help the engine breath better?! I had a GSX-R750 which sadly was totalled 4 months after riding off the lot :( in an accident which was not my fault. but this bike is soo damn good looking especially from the side. and putting an Akrapovic exhaust on is a perfect match! aside from being a BMW it's got killer specs. this will for sure be my next bike. the Ducatis are nice but you just can't beat this performance and pricing! can't wait to see a superbike shootout! I am so excited for this bike!
