It's a more rounded, harmonious and *safe* shape than the current 1's chunkiness. But, some character is lost, too. The 2nd is distinctly crossover which is nauseating. But.... the major lines are very nicely integrated for a recipe-from-leftovers as Giom said. Love the color. I kind of like the first one, but it reminds me too much of the mazda 3. We all know that it will never look like a Z4. (Nor like a 5GT from the image in the link above.)
