Attending the BMW X6 M event gave us the opportunity for the first time to listen to the new twin-scroller 555 horsepower engine and despite what others might say, it does sound like an M engine.
Sure, some might say that the sound resonance doesn’t match the one in the existing M models, but in the end, if you listen to the X6 M next to the X6 xDrive50i, you will be able to distinguish them.
The X5 M, which is powered by the same engine, was present in Atlanta as well, but unfortunately it was not included in the test drive program.
One of our readers, Paul, which we will like to thank with this occasion, has attended a BMW Car Club event in New Jersey where BMW of North America decided to bring out the BMW X5 M. While attending the event, Paul managed to capture the sound of the X5 M on a short video and share with us as well.
So, tell us what you think….

Amazing!!!!
Horatiu, without rev u cant say )), it would be really great if u could add this kind of video, like most of the m5 videos on youtube, where u can surely feel all the power ))
sorry, already found it in bmw x6m on race track video, but still it reminds me 2 sounds: 1) m3 csl, 2) impreza sti (while on track) its not good for a car this kind of status and a big powerful v8. So i think eisenmann and everything will be clear )))
I like the Cayenne Turbo/Turbo S a lot more.
I prefer the Cayenne GTS with sport mode on; the exhaust note is the devil singing…
This car iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissssssssssssss sooooooooo beautifull.I want it.
