Just look on the performance of X6M which according to rumor is faster on Nurburgring than RS6 C6. Take under consideration huge weight difference between X6M and upcoming M5 which I suppose will amount to 500-600 kg and assess track performance and straight lane performance of M5. It should - isn't that what it is supposed to do? Be an alternative for the buyer who wants the versatillity of the Touring but with more style. Obviously not a lot, but some.
