Beautiful car, but to 5 series owners like me it is probably going to stretch the budget just too much. My concern is not that BMW are building such a car but that they are moving away from their roots as premium but affordable sports saloon manufacturer. To me the 5 series has been one of the greatest cars on the planet. Practical and fantastic to drive. To those of us that do not want a hulking great beast of a SUV (tall, high center of gravity, heavy and need lots of electronics to keep them from falling off the road!!) and find wagons a little boring, this car is a godsend. However if it is priced like the X6 we will left in the dirt and we will need to find another manufacturer to provide such a vehicle (the new Audi A7 looks promising). I see high dollar signs!!
