Continuing with the BMW 5 Series GT and as promised, we have new videos illustrating some key elements in the exterior and interior design, along with some footage of the 5 GT in motion.

After carefully watching these new videos, we have no choice but to enforce our initial statement: the interior of the new 5 Gran Turismo is by far the best we have see in a BMW so far. The car truly is all about luxury and personal comfort and that is exactly what BMW is going for. Add to this package an extraordinary engine, performance, dynamics and all the new driving technologies, and we can see why the 5 GT might sell well.

But in the end, as we always said, it’s a personal choice and each individual has a different taste. Here is a little secret: Never been a fan of the 3 or 5 Wagons, so implicitly, I will never buy one. Does that mean I don’t love my BMWs? Far from it.

I like the white angel eyes. Hope BMW brings that to all models soon.

I see high dollar signs!! Beautiful car, but to 5 series owners like me it is probably going to stretch the budget just too much. My concern is not that BMW are building such a car but that they are moving away from their roots as premium but affordable sports saloon manufacturer. To me the 5 series has been one of the greatest cars on the planet. Practical and fantastic to drive. To those of us that do not want a hulking great beast of a SUV (tall, high center of gravity, heavy and need lots of electronics to keep them from falling off the road!!) and find wagons a little boring, this car is a godsend. However if it is priced like the X6 we will left in the dirt and we will need to find another manufacturer to provide such a vehicle (the new Audi A7 looks promising).
