The Alpina livered machine faired slightly better, poor start positions meant wins would have been very difficult, but in both races it managed to work its way from the back-end of the grid to the front-end, which means it does has a useful turn of speed. Both races were won by Morgan, which if I recall correctley are BMW powered :) The M3 GT4's looked pretty racey, pretty much on the pace and with a shot at the win in Sundays race, at least one of them was - the other was wiped out going over the start line! Fair play to Audi, Team Rosberg were flying in the first race, a probably 1-2 on their debut, but both cars suffered technical failures.
