Shortly after the official launch at the Shanghai Auto Show and we have the first photos of the BMW X5 M spotted on the streets somewhere in Germany.
Beside the impressive road presence, the spied X5 M becomes even more interesting since it is the first time we see the final product in a different color from the one marketed by BMW in the official photos.
According to Florian, the color seems to be a Blue Watter Metallic, similar to what we have seen on other bimmers.
When talking about the X5 M, he confirmes what we knew so far: the aggressive front spoilter, the X6-like headlights and the wheel design emphasize the appearance of the car, which looks far more muscular when seen in person.
Expected? Without a doubt and that’s the whole idea beside the first M SAVs/SACs: power and aggressiveness.

I saw one on 85 in Charlotte the other day in Alpine White. MMMMmmmmm. . .
i love it but the wheels suck
@Miles Ransom:
I have to agree. The wheels on every other M are spot on, but they messed up on this one.
Are those wheels genuine?
And some people say the bumpers aren’t aggressive enough? LOOK at the thing!!!
That’s Silverstone II, not blue water.
that looks mean…i love it in this color and thats weird since i wldnt usually like any other car in that color!!!
That color suck, and the wheels doesn’t help at all, they both suck
The front bumper sucks…
@Carlos Perez: The bumper also sucks
i dunno if its just these pictures, or if its some sort of pre-production model, but it looks goofy as hell in these pictures. just awkward.
