LOL…another overpriced aftermarket piece from ACS! So many other options at fractions of the cost, so I suppose there will always be a few who will pay the premium for that nice shiny AC Schnitzer logo on those calipers. Sad really….

Actually, I believe the brakes probably are less prone to fade, and overheat. AC Schnitzer never go for the numbers, they always use refinement.

I agree.

The small improvement is definitely not enough to compensate the prices. I think the reality is that BMW manufactured the M3 as sort of ‘race’ car, therefore giving much attention to details needed for the track such as the brakes. This may be the reason why it is very difficult to improve those numbers by much.

I wouldn’t get this brake system. For the VERY small improvement in numbers and for the, most likely, very high price point it’s just really not worth it in my eyes.

I suppose conditions influence the braking capabilites.

Edmunds Insideline tested the M3 and it got 60 to 0 (100km to 0) in 100 feet, which is about 31 metres.
