In the next few months, all the media outlets – print and online, will write many articles comparing the recently released BMW X5 M and X6 M to other similar models, such as Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG, Audi Q7 or the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
But we’re jumping ahead here and we will throw at you lots of numbers, technical specs and …..more numbers. At the end, since we care about what you think, we will give you the option to vote your favorite, modern or most powerful SUV….well, SAV and SAC if we’re being picky now.
All the data was compiled by Mr. CarGuy, so many thanks in advance.

non. the older G55 AMG in black
Audi likes coming up with these diesel trucks that tries to be in tehr perfrmance class. They must wake up, they have the worst diesel engines when compared to BMW and Merc in terms of reliability, refinement, performacne and efficiency! But afterall – it should be OK because it is a VW.
it can be seen that the X5M and X6M both share many components, so it makes sense to bring both of them out
Doesn’t the Range Rover count ?
The current one does have its BMW engine replaced with other powerplants, but I believe the underpinnings were still developped by BMW (when they owned Rover).
I think the Cayenne could be technically better (I assume it is more expensive for a reason). But I, picked the X6 M.
I will pick the X6-M, it is the best looking in my opinion.
I choose :
1) X6 M
2) Porsche Cayenne Turbo S(Pretty close)
3) X5 M
4) MB
5) Q7
M6 M please!!!
I think audis coming with the V12 TFSI or something……its going to be like a S600 of all suvs…..a V12 suv , that thing is going to be a Monster , huge power and torque to be expected…I think more than X5M.
@viper:
I don’t think its going to work , it will be too heavy, plus the almost 2 ton, and besides probably it going to be a derivated from the VW phantom witch isn’t something from another world
X6M
X5M
Turbo S
ML 63 AMG
Q7 V!12 TDI
IM GOiNG TO TAKE THE X6 M ONCE iTS RELEASED !!!!!!
because its smaller faster and not heavy ….
in my opinion
1-X6 M
2-ML63
3-Porsche Cayenne Turbo S
4-X5 M
5-Q7
but realy i whant to know whos faster THe X6 M or THE ML63 !?!?!?!
ML63 is good because 7 gears , limit could reach 360k/m
and bad in price , the price that is shown at topic is for 2008 not 2009 ..
and ty for the TOPiC ^^ !!!!
In my opinion:
1) X5 M
2) ML63 AMG
3) X6 M
4)Porsche Cayenne Turbo

10) Audi Q7
Audi has the worst SUV here, but if compared with the Touareg, it´s not so bad
