Lol why?
If u chip tune an 535d your can reach almost 400hp. and that's with only 2 turbos.
With 3 turbos you can get even higher.

@Gord: You're right, it must be quite capable. I'm thinking of that Top Gear episode where they made the relative deficiencies of weight very clear by comparing it around the track to the much lighter Zonda.

@Doug:

Actually the Bugatti Veyron, while not as capable as other supercars, is still very respectable handling wise. It did a 1:18.X on the TG course, and while others cars can beat it, there are mainly stripped out track cars.

And unlike those track cars, the Bugatti Veyron is also a civilised road car that is comfortable.

@viper: That's one turbo for each bank of 4 cylinders in the W16 engine, which is an understandable configuration.

Why would you want BMW to build such a car? Because of its engine weight (necessary for the power to hit 250mph), it's a poor car for a race course, which is where BMW excels.

All BMW has to do is make the CS Concept reality and multitude that version into 3and 5 series and the make Grand Turismo to kill the R8. Then, it will solve the problem with competitors. The engines of BMW has to continue to excel into longevity that it has in the past. Finally, after seeing the M X6 miniver around the track, I can imagine what is will do with twin turbo!!!
