We have seen the first photos of the BMW X6 M just a couple of hours ago, but now it’s time to look at the other Motorsport SAV: the BMW X5 M. A couple of official photos have leaked onto the web as well, both images placing the “twins” side by side.
The BMW X5 M is powered by the same engine as the X6 M a 4.4 liter V8 M engine delivering 555 horsepower. This powerful engine takes the X5 M from 0-60 mph in less than five seconds, almost two seconds faster than the xDrive48i model.
More photos and information will be revealed tomorrow.

isn’t the X5M heavier than the X6M???? if that so, how it manages to make the 0 -60 in the same time???(Sorry for the bad English)
The same question I asked myself, no information on that yet.
And no need to apologize for your English Carlos, you’ve been on here for a while and you’re doing very well.
Much better than my Spanish. Si?
Actually looking at BMW’s webiste the X5 35d and the X6 35d have about the same weight. :O
I picked those two because both had the same engine.
no…X6 is heavier , they cant do o to 100 in the same time , the weight of both cars is well above 2000kg , if u ask me they should pull out more torque than 680 , because x50 has 600Nm already , so its not a radical improvement anyway
[...] The overall look of the BMW X5 has clearly become more aggressive, but if money were no objection, we would still stick with the X5 M. [...]
