Do you guys think BMW’s DCT and SMG can’t support the power of the X6 M leading to an auto tranny ?

Tranny: Boo ! Hope the new M5 gets DCT or SMG

I suppose in terms of catering to the market this makes sense though, offering the automatic and all. :(

@BMWDriver: That's what make BMW remarkable they never had use the 6.2L that every other company has been using and the made almost the same amount of hp,like someone said in a review a little while ago, BMW is not raw power coming from a 1000L 1000 cylinders engines, is well applied, smart, controllable and usable power, always in style.

I really fear this could be a nail in the coffin for BMW. The wrong car for the wrong time. It seems unthinkable the amount of cars they’ve cancelled yet still produced the X5 & X6 M. You have to think that they were so late into development that they couldn’t cancel them. Shame.
