Edmunds continues their great series of reviews (Read: BMW M3 by Brabham) and today, they just published a new one. This time, the highly awaited, acclaimed and drooled over, 2009 BMW Z4, is being tested by the Edmunds folks.

The BMW Z4 is definitely the car that we look forward to the most this year and we cannot wait to get our hands on it. If you had any doubt that the new Z4 doesn’t live up to the expectations, then you can shake those doubts off, “This roadster is for real” phrase says it all.

For 2009, the BMW Z4 finally becomes a serious roadster. More than just a face-lift, some new options and a little bump in power, this Z4 gets a whole new identity. And cute is no longer part of it.

Is It Worth It?
While that amount of money would’ve seemed ridiculous for a 2008 Z4, it somehow seems less objectionable for this recently matriculated Z4 sDrive35i. The engine alone is worth the extra cash, as it grabs your attention the first time you probe its upper ranges. i am so excitd for this car. I love that twin turbo six more than any other engine on the market, so sily smooth, so much power. I love how BMW has made the 335 coupe basically as fast as the old M3, and edmunds says here that this new z4 35i will be right on target with the old z4 m. fantastic

    @Carlos Perez:

    If your really interested in one, I suppose you could always contact Hartge and order a Z4 with the S85 V10/ S65 V8.

    Of course you would probably have to wait a while before they annouce engine swaps for this new model.
