Red Dot has released its 2009 design awards winners list and the new 2009 BMW Z4 has already won its first award for High Quality Design. The international red dot design award – allotted since 1955 under the aegis of the Design Zentrum North Rhine Westphalia in Essen, Germany – ranks among the largest and most renowned design prizes in the world.
It is granted to products by an international panel of design experts who base their criteria on degree of innovation, functionality and formal quality.
In the honor of this award, our friends at BMW-web.tv released an unseen video of the new BMW Z4. Adrian Von Hooydonk, Head of Design, and the amazing young designer, Juliane Blasi, are featured in it.

Pity that this design language is not filtered to other designs like the 5GT, 7 and next 5
@Lance, different cars Lance, you can’t really take a design and apply it to any car. I still believe the new 5 will be stunning.
I wonder how this car looks in different colors. BMW 360 visualizer does not help.
