Ugh, I bloody hate wood interior trim. I’m sincerely hope BMW offers an aluminum interior trim option in the new 5, as they already for the current 5 in every other country ex-the US.

I believe that bmw has no reason to hide this car that much if it was a 7series so i dont agree with those of you who say its a 7.I’m preety sure this aint an M5 aswell.

In this case, yes, these photos are indeed the 7 Series F01, shortwheel base.

Is it possible that this is an F01 mule that they are testing? Perhaps 760i or even M7? There are too many similarities to the 7 I fell, the interior looks spot on for the 7.

I hope its not too similar to the seven. Remember when BMW said they were abandoning the ’same sausage, different lenths’ philosophy, I was very glad. Each model had its own personality -unmistakably.

I don’t like Audi cars wich looks exatcly the same. From a distance you can’t tell them apart. This might work for some people, but seeing that different people buy different models within a marque, I’d say a different styling treatment is called for.

BMW had this very right so far. I hope it doesn’t change.
