Had my BMW x6 3.0d for a week, great to look at with so much presence.
Fantastic drive, believe me you wont know till you drive one.
Always driven the 3 series convertibles to include an M3 2004, but I needed more practicality.
I can see the point of this car, the room of an SUV with better handling than a coupe and it’s no slouch either.
Wonder what the xDrive50i and M version would be like, probably terrifying.
I get it BMW.

The look is one thing(abrosultely head-turning), the feel of the drive is even more breathtaking.

If I didn’t love my M5 so much, I’d buy an X6 Xdrive50i in a heartbeat. Shame it’s so expensive. I’d like to pick up a used one.

I had an Xdrive30i X5 as a loaner car and it was delightful.

I am quite amazed becuase when it was first released I absolutley hated it and thought why, but a year on and I love it now. I like it becuase its different and looks sexy and sporty. I want one!

omg…i think that the x6 is one of bmw’s most accomplished cars with the 3 series coupe being first(in my opinion)….i absolutly love the x6!!! i love the fact that they mixed it with the coupe which gives it such a unique feel. And it looks absolutly stunning!!!…there are only 2 cars i would get from BMW…3 series coupe….AND THE X6! no question…

I have loved this car since it came out…I see them here in Morocco all the time and I am always impressed by its presence…I do think that the car on pics does not look as good as on the road…Not a very photogenic car but very beautiful when u see it!!!

The BMW X6 was always going to be controversial but that said it is a success. Not so keen on the tuned versions though.

I’ve searched long and hard. I looked and looked again. I tried to shut off my subjective self in order to see the ‘ugly’ in this design.

I honestly don’t see it. It’s not there. It’s a beautifull car -a car with market. Not huge I’m sure, but enough to make a profit from.

Everyone who has ever called this car ugly, does not have a mind of his own. He eccos what everybody is saying without looking for him self. He has decided what he is going to think about the car long before it’s been shown, because that was what everybody was saying before the launch.

Pity!

I’m sticking with the X5 (time to upgrade from the X3!). The price is definitely pretty hard to swallow. Although I wouldn’t mind buying it CPO after it’s 3 years old.

The X6 is gorgeous! There is nothing like it on the road and the Driving Dynamics (is that what it’s called?) technology that can transfer the torque to EACH individual wheel is impressive.

Well I actually agree with you and I don’t mind the X6. My only problem is not its conception but its pricing.

I have the same opinon of the 5 series GT. I also like the 5 series GT and its ideas, but I think a 3 series GT is more appropriate.
