Geneva Auto Show is not all about concept cars and most of the manufacturers are looking to reach a broader audience, attracting people interested in performance cars as well. Alpina is a regular at the European car shows with their luxurious performance models, like the Alpina B7, but BMW is not far behind.

Last year, they showcased the Performance Parts on the 135i Coupe and this year, they are back again with two different vehicles: the facelifted 335i Sedan and the 135i Coupe. While I always believe the 135i Coupe looks stunning in white and with all the peformance parts on it, now I can’t seem to be able to take my eyes off the BMW 335i Sedan.

The Performance Power Kit seems to have the same components as the one released last year, from the carbon-fiber side mirrors and trunk boot lid, to the rear bumper and difuser, and of course, the sporty 5 spokes wheels.

The interior is typical of a BMW Performance car, sports bucket seats with integrated headrests and side airbags, three-spoke sports steering wheel with a small LCD screen built-in, gearshift knob with alcantara cover, model-specific door linings, and plenty of carbon fiber finishes as well.

We don’t have all the information available today, but we will get you the full press release in a few hours. In the mean time, enjoy the great photos from our buddies at and check out their extensive photo gallery from Geneva.

    On BMW’s website there is a new teaser. M-The Next Chapter, and there is a countdown. Is that countdown associated with this ?

    Horatiu, not sure who “they” is.. I assume you mean BMW and not Alpina?

    Very nice pictures.

    I’m interested by the weight-saving carbon options, if that’s what they are for. Do they say how much is saved by the trunklid, and what balances out the car after that? (such as lightweight hood, etc). Any chance we’ll see the M3’s carbon roof?

  3. Gragop says:

    I like the 1 Series but the 3 Series looks a little too overdone – I think the standard M Sport kit suits it better.

  4. you are confusing the power kit which is a the 25 BHP add on , and the BMW performance accessories/Kit . The power kit is part of the whole package.

    @Gord: I suspec that is the “X” M twins!

  8. BTW, the interior images are of the 135i which I know many of you already know but wanted to clarify for those who maybe confused because of the post’s title (though the image gallery says 135i and 335i images).
