We have an unusual post today and I hope all of you will read it. We tend to stay away from any commercial/paid articles, but when it comes to charity and medical research, we gladly help the companies organizing these events to spread the word.
This charity event is targeted towards everyone that lives on the East Coast, but of course, it is open to anyone that would like to attend.
4ngiefest started in 2007 as a casual local area BMW fanatic meet. It expanded through venues such as the online car forum community, and magazine articles and is now one of the largest East Coast BMW meets.
Last year, in association with ClubBimmer.com they drew a crowd of over 300 BMWs and successfully set a record in the Guinness World Record books.
4ngiefest has continually chosen the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a beneficiary. Every year their sole purpose is to draw attention to, gain supporters, and send donations to the LLS. 4ngiefest is 100% non-profit. They cover our costs through donations, merchandise, and sponsors.
Any money collected is directly sent to the LLS at the end of the event. The LLS is the world’s largest voluntary health
organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. Since its founding in 1949, LLS has invested more than $600 million in research specifically targeting blood cancers.
The event is held usually the first weekend in April, this year being Saturday April 4th. The event will start at noon. It is held at Stone Mountain Park, near Atlanta, GA.
To see a list of who’s planning on attending please visit the map. To RSVP (and be placed on the map), please go to the Signup Page.
You can also subscribe to their newsletter for event updates and information.
If you would like to donate money for this cause, you can do so on their website: 4ngiefest.com/donate

Sounds like a really good idea, my Mum was diagnosed with Lymphoma last year so I recommend supporting this event!!! Having said that, I live in England so it’s unlikely I’ll be going!
We have people coming in from Germany. You should come too
I really appreciate you posting this for us! I’m hoping to have a great turnout again this year and raise a lot of money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
@4ngie: You’re welcome, I hope it will turn out a great meet. If BMW gives me a new vehicle to drive in April, as we talked about, I might attend as well.
Just wanted to stop by and say thank you for helping us promote!
You have a really nice blog going here, and I hope to see you in April if you do come
