SO THE PRICE FOR NOW IS OK.

i dont think the price is too bad since it seems to include wheels and body kit. body kit isnt just made up of add-ons. msport pkg is full front rear bumper and side skirt replacement.. add leather, color, and headliner and you end up spending much more than that a la carte

Actually I though the E90 package would cost around $ 5000, so this seems good.

I dunno, we don’t have those other suspension here in Italy :)

Anyway the M package does NOT change the car suspension, they’re just different in height and stiffness, that’s all.

I HAVE TO SAY, THE M-SPORT PACKAGE IS MUST ADD OPTION, I HAD MSPORT ON MY OLD E46-330CI. AND ITS WORTH IT.

M-SPORT PACKAGE LOOK WAY BETTER THAN AUDI S-LINE.

Don’t worry about the bumper thing – BMW’s are greater than the sum of their parts.

However, yeah, we get the package cheaper than the rest of the world – but last time BMW did this in the U.S. people actually got more value from the package. Seems BMW is scaling back on those items…

In Italy it costs 4800 € = 6072 $ so you are lucky :)

I guess it’s the same package, here it includes:

- M aerodynamic body kit (F/R bumper + sideskirts);
- M styling 194 17″ wheels (or M 193 18″ wheels for another 600€);
- Xenon lights with high pressure lights cleaning system;
- Light package;
- Sport seats;
- M suspension with lower ride;
- M leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons;
- M leather gearshift and handbrake lever;
- M pedals and footrest;
- M decals and doorsills;
- Anthracite Headliner;
- Le Mans Blue paint avaible;

Well I think 4800 € (15% of the car price if you get a 320d) it’s simply too much, but since you can have a 9-12% of discount at the dealer… maybe you can think about it. My brother has it on his 120d hatchback and trust me it’s amazing with that 18″ wheels and all the other M stuff. But you have to like to have a plastic rear bumper, wich I don’t. I’m about to spend 40k € on a BMW car and I get a plastic bumper?!?! That’s simply CRAZY, I can’t imagine why they did it in plastic, it’s nonsense.

oh and a refined suspension on the E46…man, this package isn’t worth it. Save $1,750 and get the sports package.

That’s not really worth it for that kind of money. Hell, the ZHP on the E46 was that much and you got rims,a body kit, steering wheel, short-shifter, more power, a quicker steering rack and an improved exhaust. I was very interested in an E90 M Sport but for the money, you get no added benefit, so how would this package hold much value over a sports package?

BMW really missed it on this one…

Oh and $6,500 for the package on the X5?!
