BMW hasĀ made public their microsite dedicated to the new BMW 5 Series GT Concept. Every new product launched by BMW receives a mini, special website, fully dedicated to that particular concept. The idea behind is to allow everyone to learn more about their newly launched products and also, interact, at some level, with the cars.
The best part is that they allow us, the BMW fans, and not only, to download the interactive videos in different formats, from the regular iPod format to the Windows one. So, if you’re on the go and wanting to learn more about the 5 Series GT, this microsite, might help.
But since we love you so much, we made the videos available through Youtube as well. Talk about having a great community here…..

Looks good, but I think the color is horrid.
It’s not that much higher than a 5 series sedan is it ?
Reminds me of Audi’s “dakar beige” (and I really like that color), though this one looks a couple of shades lighter. I could be wrong…. computer monitor can play awful tricks on colors. Or maybe it’s close to the Mojave metallic.
im really starting to like the new GT.
4-seats? Trash… Why does not offer a normal 5-seat X6, 3-serias coupe and now the PAS? I do not get the idea. I’d like to buy X6 or 3-serias sedan, but can’t since I need a 5-seats car.
@mpower: I do too…it’s growing on me
@Ezh: The production car will have 5 seats, it will lose the central console
its great!it has elements of new 7 series rear lights,x6 side windows line,and front from concept cs…i wonder is this design will appear on new 5 series…or its just the number that is the same like x5 but is whole different concept of vechile..that would be cool,whole new design for 5 series…
Has anybody seen the clay models from the pictures posted earlyer? They had some really good ideas they were working on for the back. The design was a lot more flowing and interesting. The tail lights were more sculpted and smaller. Does anybody share my thoughts on this?
Horatiu, maybe you can ask someone about this when you bump into them. Boy, I’d love to chat to some of the designers on this project. I know there’s a big realtion between the designers and the engineers, and this sometimes (or always) inflouence the design.
That is an amazing video. This vehicle is starting to make so much sense.
Well, I am to see this one in person I think. But I am curious about if the 3 series GT (PAC) will be more sporting and compact. Right now, this just looks big. Wrong color to show it in.
hey guys,i was wondering what those headlights reminds me of..and then i saw mitshubishi lancer headlights…fuck…bmw had always been a pioneer but this time…it was mitsubishi…i must say its a great headlights..but its not org…its very hard to be org at this modern time ,when there is so much models…and everybody wants to be special and unique…
