For some reason this reminds me of a toyota venza. This car is 40% hatchback. Too in betweenish for me. I wish BMW would stop trying to make the ultimate everyvehicle (sporty AND luxurious AND cargo AND you can jam all your kids in the backseat). Screw families, just make racecars and 7 series :) Seat inserts = VW GTI

Oh, alright, alright. This… thing… PAS.. GT.. whatever, is growing on me. I can see myself leasing one of these for the sake of it all. I like the bronze-ish color, too. I wonder if that color will make it into production (probably not, ‘cuz BMW loves 100 shades of silver).

The front end looks surprising good however the rear looks awkward and confused. Hopefully looks better in a darker colour.

I say color combination aside, this vehicle is sensational! Not a big market for it, thats certain, but for the right client this vehicle is ideal!

I like the simplicty of the layout of the dash/console. However, those seating inserts combined with the trim color are pretty bad, good thing it’s a concept!

The front looks better than I expected and I think it will compliment the front of the new 5 Series.

A different color wouldn’t do any harm, that’s for sure.

Both for the interior and the exterior.

Apart from that, I like it.

@ Brookside: you’re quite right about the rear; it looks like it was torn away from a Transformer’s face. I hope they soften it a little for the production version.

I like it…but I don’t love it.
The overall exterior impression looks and feels awkward – as if everything’s been grafted from other designs so that the transitions from front-to-side-to-rear don’t visually flow. The rear treatment is super-clunky where the roofline meets the trunk gate. 3/4 rear view spotlites the worst items.

The interior looks pretty nice…not my fav tho…the colors and mixed fabrics seem to acknowledge a familiarity with upscale retirement homes and vacation package cruise liners.

Overall it signifies more about it’s target audience and less about being a bimmer.

Front end is tasty. Back end looks confused. Looks sort of like a shooting brake that’s been stepped on. BMW made their 4 door coupe alright…

Of course, if the front end here translates to the new 5er, I am JACKED UP.
