I was a bit surprised to see that BMW didn’t have the setup right next to MINi this time. Detroit and L.A. was all about the BMW/MINI brand, with both platforms setup one next to each other and the conference press set at very close time intervals.
But anyway, enough complaining already, let’s focus on the photos. The newly release MINI Cooper S convertible was there as well and of course, the Clubman. To my surprise, the MINI E was missing….a bit understandable since L.A and Detroit shows were all about “green”, but I think it would have been good PR to see the MINI electric here as well.
On the other hand, it kinda makes sense since the MINI E will be offered only for residents of NY, NJ and CA.
