I think I’d rather have it with the S54, personally. A car like that really needs an inline 6, even at the sacrifice of a few hp.

@Gord: I'm doing more research. I remember seeing the news last year about the regular MF4 and it mentioned the 4.8 V8 engine.

This is bit confusing, but I think the 4.8 V8 is the one you get on the 550i or X5 4.8. I thought the old M5 engine made ~ 400 hp.

Updated guys! Sorry. It was the M3 engine, the previous MF4 was powered by the older M5 engine, 4.8liter

The M3 engine is a 4.0 L and the M5 is a 5.0 L isn´t?
