I know its not good for F1, but in the end I think it says more about the sponsoring companies than about Renault or BMW. Dell, Credit Suisse and ING mis-managed themselves. So, that they can’t afford their F1 engagement anymore.

things are not too great in F1 this year. I heard Renault is going to loose their biggest sponsor ING and now Dell and Credit Suisse canceled sponsorship for BMW too. You could use a plugin like “If you liked this post, donate a beer for BMW” if they are going to be in trouble.

You got to remember that teams supposedly introduced cost cutting measures for the 2009 seasons so I can see why he is confident because they are spending less than last year which would mean they don’t need as much and loosing , i think he would be this confident if this happened last year. I’m sure some other companies will come along and fill those spaces though
