It has been a while since we posted a video from the popular Formula 1 series. The fellows at BMW-web.tv have just updated their collection with a new F1 related video, of course, all revolving around the BMW Sauber team.
Today, we have Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica talking about one of the most important winning factors in the Formula 1 races: the Pit Stop. One of these elements where team work is crucial and it can win or lose a break in a matter of seconds…or even less.
It’s interesting how many rules FIA has imposed on the F1 races, including fuel refueling control. According to Robert Kubica, the fuel pump has a ratio of 10 liters/second or aproximately 5.02 galons per second.
Again great video and I wish BMW will make them last a lit longer.
